Non-Member Entries often accepted.
Not all rodeos accept non-member entries. Go to www.iprarodeo.com and check the schedule to determine which rodeos you’d like to enter. Then click on “Central Entry System” to get all appropriate entry info; dates, performance times, stock contractor, added money, events, entry fees and entry dates. Entries are always taken at 337-427-6336. When the operator answers you’ll need the following information: the rodeo(s) you want to enter, your name, address, date of birth, contact number and social security number as well as the event (s) you want to enter. If you are entering more than 1 person, you’ll need the same for the other person(s). If you are under the age of 18, you’ll need a notarized parental release form signed and in the IPRA office prior to the entry date for the rodeos you wish to compete in. The form can be downloaded from www.iprarodeo.com. Membership forms also are available there. If you want to purchase a membership, please have the form filled out and your check made payable to the IPRA before you get to the rodeo. We cannot accept credit cards at the rodeo.
If you are told to call back at a later time to find out if or when you are entered, you must call back or you will be drawn out of the rodeo. Be sure to write down and keep the confirmation number the operator must give you if your entry if accepted. Please remember that non-member entries are not guaranteed and performance preferences may not be honored. We make every effort to accommodate non-members but card holders have an absolute priority. If you are planning to enter multiple rodeos or need specific performances, buy a membership card. It’ll save money, time and aggravation and your chances of competing at the rodeos you want, when you want, are greatly improved.
Upon arrival at the rodeo, go immediately to the announcers stand where the rodeo secretary is taking entries. You’ll be required to complete a Contestant Information Form. Your entry fees must be paid in cash a minimum of two hours before performance time and there are additional non-member fees in the amount of $40.00 plus the listed amount of entry fees in the rodeo website schedule. If you have questions, please email the rodeo office or call Lenora at 815-823-3245.
