Jason Mathis
Jason Mathis has a phenomenal rodeo voice and a winning attitude as well as a great rodeo background, all of which make him a terrific rodeo announcer. 2024 will mark Jason’s 2nd year as part of the Big Hat crew and he is always a true professional. Jason calls Zolfo Springs, FL home and is engaged to Kristin Cook.
Dusti Crain Dickerson
Dusti Crain Dickerson Widely acknowledged as the Number 1 Specialty Act in the nation Dusti hails from IL and a rodeo family, Dusti and husband Justin travel the country performing at major rodeos. Her amazing and athletic performances thrill audiences performance after performance. Her Roman Riding 2-3 and 4 horses at a time is both dangerous and crowd pleasing and when she and Justin trick ride together the duo is spectacular. She has been selected as a featured performer at the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas multiple times. Dusti and Justin give much credit to their amazing set of horses. They are the proud parents of future performers Cruz and Valynn who travel with them.
Jeremy Coan
Jeremy Coan from Auburn, AL Jeremy has been a valued member of the Big Hat Rodeo family for several years, serving as our lead bullfighter. He is well known throughout Bull Riding circles and has been selected to serve in that capacity at the International Finals Rodeo. Over the past couple of years Jeremy has become one of rodeo’s best and most sought after young rodeo announcers, His vast knowledge of our sport, its contestants and specialty acts as well ashis ability to build an almost instant report with rodeo spectators keeps rodeo fans of all ages entertained.
Cody Gibson
Cody Gibson Cody is returning to the Big Hat Rodeo family after a serious accident sidelined him for much of the fall and winter of last year. Fully healed and back for 2024, Cody is getting ready for a busy summer as one of our bullfighters. Cody has a great smile and a winning smile as well as a great work ethic. His popularity with bull riders across the country is growing as they all have come to know him as a quality bullfighter who is always willing to sacrifice himself for the bull riders’ safety.
Jacob Jackson
Jacob Jackson 2024 will continue to be an amazing year for this young man. He is one of the best up and coming young bullfighters in the USA and bull riders across the country love having him as their cowboy protector in the arena. He is making his debut as a full time member of the Big Hat Rodeo crew and he and wife Morgan live in Sandy Run, South Carolina and will be welcoming their first child in mid-July.
Bert Davis
Bert “The Coppertown Clown” Davis Bert Davis has literally travelled from one end of the country to the other performing at major rodeos from NY to California and just about everywhere in between. His “Muttley crew” act is regarded as among the very best in the business and Bert has been honored with multiple selections to perform at the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas, His legion of awesome dog acts have made him popular with fans of all sizes and ages. Bert and wife Frannie will be bringing the Muttley Crew and performing as special guest stars at multiple Big Hat Rodeos in 2024.
Jeff Havely
Jeff, originally from TX, now resides in SC…He previously worked for Big Hat Rodeo Co for several years as our lead bullfighter and was delighted to return to the company in 2022 as a clown and barrelman. He returns with new acts and he’ll be up to his usual his comedic antics.
