Freedom Reins Shenandoah Pro Rodeo
Since 1975, Shenandoah Riding Center has provided a pro rodeo in conjunction with Independence Day celebrations. Freedom Reins Pro Rodeo hosts two nights of amazing entertainment through eight fiercely competitive and exhilarating competitions.
Eagle Ridge Resort & Spa, The Galena Territory Association (GTA), and Shenandoah bring Freedom Reins Pro Rodeo to the Galena Territory on July 1 and 2, 2022 where more than 150 cowboys and cowgirls will compete for $30,000!

Friday, July 1
10 a.m. to Noon: Family Fair – Enjoy face painting, caricatures, games for all ages, photo opportunities with cowboys and clowns, a petting zoo and more! Just $5 at the gate!
4-6 p.m.: Gates open and Family Fun Night begins! Visitors can enjoy the same games and fun as in the morning, minus the petting zoo.
7 p.m.: Sit back and watch an action-packed rodeo with fireworks immediately following!
Saturday, July 2

4:45 p.m.: John King in concert – you won’t want to miss this!

Food vendors on site (please, no coolers), beer, soda, water available for purchase and shopping opportunities for cowboy merchandise, Freedom Reins items, and Grab Life by the Reins clothing. ATM’s available on site. There are bleachers, but visitors are welcome to bring a blanket and sit on the hillside. Pets not allowed.
